MARIA KOTSEVА

Maria Kotseva joined the team of Stankov, Todorov, Hinkov & Spasov in 2023. She obtained her Master of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2025. 

Her professional interests and areas of work are primarily within civil law, including property law, family and inheritance law, as well as contract and commercial law. 

In 2024–2025 she was a Fulbright legal intern at the Sofia District Court, where she worked closely with judges and assisted in the preparation of draft judicial acts - judgments and rulings, gaining substantial experience in the fields of contract and property law.

Maria is actively engaged in extracurricular activities, including the Civil and Commercial Law Club and the Criminal Law Club at Sofia University, participation in student legal readings and academic workshops, as well as the National Civil and Commercial Law Competition “Kristian Takov” in Sofia, where she and her team reached the final rounds.

In 2026 she enrolled in a training program in domestic and international arbitration at the Arbitration Court at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aiming to expand her knowledge of arbitration agreements, jurisdiction, proceedings, arbitral awards, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
